Building Stronger Institutions and Networks

We work with ultra-high networth individuals, nonprofits, philanthropic institutions, and corporate partners to support transformative change through an equity-based approach focused on helping social justice organizations become stronger and more resilient over time.

Collaborative Action, Research, and Learning

We design, implement, and evaluate cross-sector collaborations to advance bold strategies that promote personal, structural, and systemic change. As part of our process, we utilize qualitative and quantitative research to identify strategic solutions that address economic, racial, and gender oppression. We provide technical assistance to help stakeholders build capacity and effectively communicate their impact to various stakeholders. Our past projects have supported education, research, policy advocacy, restorative justice practices, economic mobility, healthcare access, and socially-conscious evaluation—just a few areas where diverse engagement is central, whether on the local, national, or international level.

Organizational Capacity

We prioritize engagements with organizations led by women, people of color, people with disabilities, and members of other historically excluded groups. We work with these organizations to access flexible funding, and help organizations better understand and prioritize their needs in key areas like strategy, leadership, finances, and systems. Lastly, we design peer-learning opportunities for organizations to grow and learn from each other.

Strengthening Networks

We work with local, regional, and national collaboratives to build an infrastructure that can be resilient to some of the unique challenges that social justice organizations face. Our technical assistance specialists lend their expertise to projects that support commitment to racial equity; develop toolkits and assessments that support vital operations; provide 1:1 or collective coaching that fosters effective, connected, and representative leaders; develop and implement learning agendas; and assess financial health.
